This is how you care for Jonathan rainwear
Jonathan rainwear is made of a flexible and soft material with a layer of polyester underneath and polyurethane on the surface. The material is made without harmful PVC. All seams are welded to be waterproof.
Jonathan's products are easy to handle! With these few guidelines, you can extend the life of your product and save energy.
Avoid unnecessary machine wash. First consider whether the dirt on the product could be wiped or sprayed clean. Dirt is usually easier to remove when it is still fresh. Do not wash your rain boots in the washing machine.
Wash dirty rain wear inside out in the machine at 30 degrees. Close the zippers, the fasteners and the snap buttons. Do not use fabric softener. Use less detergent than normal!
Rainwear dries quickly at room temperature, especially on a hanger. Keep your rain boots straight. Avoid direct sunshine as it will bristle the rubber and cause cracks on the surface of the boot. It is advisable to protect the rubber boots regularly with a boot conditioner. The conditioner resets the original gloss of the rubber, maintains elasticity and prevents the rubber from becoming brittle.
